The use of beam lights in the airport area is prohibited
Citizens are prohibited from using the bright beam lights used in the sky during various events, ceremonies, wedding ceremonies within a 15 km radius of Lohgaon Airport. During the day and night at Lohgaon Civil Airport and Indian Air Force Airport, various airlines, Indian Air Force planes and helicopters take off and land. At night, lights are used on the runway and signals from the ATC tower to guide pilots. Despite this, the Air Force has pointed out that intense beam lights are being used in the sky during various events in the vicinity of Lohgaon Airport. Such an intense beam light can cause a major accident in the pilot's eyes. Therefore, the use of beam lights in the sky for the next two months from 6 pm to 6 am has been banned in the airspace within a 15 km radius of Civil Airport and Vaidul Airport, the order said.
