Why should we pay taxes?

Why should we pay taxes when we don't have enough civic amenities? The letter asking such questions Pvt. Sagar Shedge and Anil Karanjawane have handed over the case to Sandeep Kadam, Assistant Commissioner, Kothrud Regional Office. Complain about closed streetlights, partially unpaved roads, faulty waste collection planning and take appropriate action, otherwise why should we pay taxes? This is what the letter says. Pvt. Shedge said the street lights on the road from Chandni Chowk to Ramnadi were closed. Electric lights are on at sparse places from Chandni Chowk to Rajwada. But that is not enough. There is a possibility of an accident at night. Road work near Bawadhan Budruk is in partial stage. Bhugaon road was a traffic jam. Other drivers get into trouble because of drunk driving.

Karanjawane said that people coming from Bhugaon to Pune throw garbage on this road. Action should be taken against those who dump garbage. If those who are responsible for picking up garbage cannot show efficiency, then the responsibility should be released.
