Employees of Patel Hospital of Pune Cantonment Board agitated with black ribbons in the hospital premises to get intensive care. The staff then held discussions with the board's chief executive officer Amit Kumar. Amit Kumar said that there is no provision in the rules of government and any local self-government body and cantonment board to give intensive care to the employees of the board. However, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has issued a circular a few days ago and decided to pay some amount to its employees. In the same vein, at the recent general meeting of the board, it has been decided to pay Rs 150 per day to the employees for 65 days. They will also be paid soon accordingly.
