Need for constructive initiatives to make Diwali sweet for the poor- Raosaheb Danve

Kothrud: The work of Dilip Vedepatil, who worked with the desire to make everyone's Diwali sweet, is glorious. It requires constructive events like Diwali outfit visit and online job festival. Union Minister Raosaheb Danve Patil said that the help rendered by corporator Dilip Vedepatil to 6,000 families was commendable.
Danve was speaking as the chief guest while inaugurating the Diwali Saranjam Bhet and Online Job Festival organized by corporator Dilip Vedepatil. MP Girish Bapat, MLA Bhimrao Tapkir, Standing Committee Chairman Hemant Rasne, Yuva Morcha Pune President Raghavendra Mankar, Corporator Deepak Pote, Kiran Dagde Patil, Alpana Ganesh Warpe, Shraddha Prabhune-Pathak were present on the platform.
Danve said that in times of global epidemic, many poor people could not celebrate Diwali at a time when getting jobs and gifting Diwali decorations was a must.
MP Bapat said that many citizens lost their jobs during the lockdown. In this case, the online job fair will help many to become self-reliant.
