Silence for Marathi language to get elite status
In order to give Marathi the status of an elite language, the writers of Pimpri-Chinchwad observed a fast at Pimple Gurav today on the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. This initiative was organized by Dilasa Sanstha, Shabdadhan Kavyamanch and Maharashtra Kamgar Sahitya Parishad.
H.B.P. Kisan Maharaj Chaudhary, Critic Pradip Gandhlikar, Senior Poet Shobha Joshi, Senior Journalist Shivajirao Shirke, Publisher Nitin Hirve, Founder-President of Dilasa Sanstha and Shabdadhan Kavyamanch Suresh Kank Adi had joined this movement.
