Slum rehabilitation in Vadarwadi area is slow
In order to rehabilitate the slums in Vadarwadi area, the concerned builders and administration have taken possession of the land and started the construction. However, work is progressing slowly even though construction is expected to be completed within the stipulated time. The landlords are currently living on rent as the original landlords will get the flats. The original landlord receives rent from the respective builders. But that is not enough, lamented citizens. Citizens of Vadarwadi area are opposed to this as slum rehabilitation is not being completed within a limited period. Citizens are demanding that the administration, local people's representatives should pay attention to this and try to complete the project as soon as possible.
