Good news! The prices of watermelon, custard apple and jujube have declined.

Market Yard: Prices of watermelon, custard apple and cassava declined on Sunday, while papaya rose and melon, chickpea, guava, orange, citrus, pomegranate and lemon remained stable. 6 trucks of pineapple from Kerala, 45 to 50 tons of citrus, 20 to 25 tons of oranges, 45 to 50 tons of pomegranate, 8 to 10 tempos of papaya, 3 to 4 thousand bags of lemon, 1 thousand bags of chikku, 10 to 12 tempos of watermelon. Yuvraj Katchi, vice-president of the Aadte Association, said that 30 to 40 tempos of muskmelon, 400 carats of Peru, 10 to 20 tonnes of custard apple and 1500 to 2,000 sacks have arrived.

Fruit prices are as under: Lemon (per sack): 70-120, Pineapple (dozen): 70-270, Sweet Lime: (3 dozen): 180-400 , (4 dozen): 60-160, Orange: (10 kg): 100-350 , Pomegranate Saffron(Bhagwa) (per kg): 50-200, Ganesha: 10-60, Pomegranate: 10-80. Watermelon: 5-8, Muskmelon: 10-18, Papaya: 5-15, Chikoo: 100-500 , Custard apple 10-70, Peru (20 kg): 200-300
