Good news for fish eaters... Read It !

The cold snap has begun across the country, affecting fish. This has led to a 10 to 20 per cent increase in the price of deep sea fish compared to last week. Other fish prices are stable. Traders Rupesh Pardeshi and Prabhakar Kamble said prices of eggs, chicken and mutton remained stable

About 15 to 16 tonnes of deep sea fish, about 200 to 400 kg of creek fish and 1 to 1.5 tonnes of river fish arrived at Ganesh Peth fish market on Sunday. About 15 to 20 tonnes of Rahu, Katla and Ceylon have arrived from Andhra Pradesh, said a foreign trader.
