Theatre is one of the oldest forms of art and Pune a place of appreciation for that art and Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha is one of such places.

He established Marathi Sahitya Mandal and supported Marathi Sahitya Sammelan. Unfortunately, he could only publish one out of the three volumes of his autobiography.
With a seating capacity of over 900 people and wonderful facilities, Yashwantrao has witnessed great shows since 2000.
