The gates of Sinhagad, which has been closed for nine months, will be open for tourists from Tuesday (8). A few days ago the rules were relaxed and trekking was allowed; But tourists were not yet allowed. Therefore, the livelihood of the small and big traders who were in the business of transporting tourists to the fort, selling gram-bread, tea, bhaji, curd-buttermilk and selling legumes in the vicinity of the fort became serious. But since Sinhagad will be open for tourists from tomorrow, the problem of livelihood of the traders there will also be solved. The order was issued by the district collector on Monday.
Discussions were held with the District Forest Officer and Archaeological Department officials to make Sinhagad fort open for tourists and businessmen. Sinhagad will be open to all from Tuesday.
